Sevilla is the Champion of Europa League, courtesy of performing better penalty kicks in the finals against Benfica (4-2), after the regular part of the game ended with a goalless tie. Rakitic was named the Player of the Game and Player of the Year for this season of Europa League.

Oh boy.. that El Classico defeat by Barca seems to have hit Real harder than it seemed so at first.

They played against Sevilla, and started of good with Christiano Ronaldo scoring a leading goal. It all seemed like a standard procedure, Real Madrid comes to your stadium, kicks your butt, and leaves. But Sevilla wouldn't have it. After the leading goal Carlos Bacca started a true show, and the game ended with Sevilla winning 2:1.

This made Real Madrid loose another 3 points, and not at a good time when they're in a direct battle with Atletico Madrid and Barcelona to get the title.
