Dzeko destroys Southampton!

Manchester City played against Southampton in the latest round of the Premiership and won another 3 points. Them man who takes most of the credits is Bosnia's own Edin Dzeko. He doesn't often get a proper chance to play, but when he does he shows true class.

In this match he scored one goal and won a penalty for his team. Also, he managed to fool the referee in an obvious off side situation which let to Nasri scoring another goal for the Citizens. All in all, it ended 4:1 and Manchester City stays among the top contenders for the title.

Messi kicks some Real Madrid balls

Well.. that was quite a match. A lot of fighting, both metaphorically and literally. In the end, it all ended with three penalty kicks and a red card for Real Madrid.

As for the score... well, Messi was the man of the hour. He's now the best scorer in El Classico with a hat trick. Two of those three were from penalty kicks, where he outsmarted Diego Lopez with a finesse we always expect from him.

Getting ready for El Classico

Getting ready for another duel
What's the biggest duel in the football world? Well, it would be hard to determine, some say it's River Plate VS Boca Juniors, others would say it's Glasgow Rangers VS Celtic, some will argue it's Manchester United VS Liverpool.. there's no way to really determine, but we can sure say some are more important than others.

And Barcelona VS Real Madrid is one of those, each time it's played it's more than football. To many in Catalonia it's actually a sort of revolutionary fight. Whenever Barca wins, they see it as Catalonia's victory against Spain. That just shows how far something like football can go.. as for me, I just want to see a good game so let's get ready.

Olympiacos got served!

Man, oh man, oh man.. now you can't act like you knew. Nobody knew, nobody saw this thing coming man. We all love to laugh at the winners who start losing, and we certainly did a lot of that with Manchester United lately, but after what happened to Olympiacos we can only praise them, if only for a moment.

So, to recap, in the first game of the Champions League knockout phase, Olympiacos beat Manchester United 2:0. That was no surprise with the record Moyes had under his belt so far. Then came the rematch, played last night, when everyone expected to see Moyes and his boys lose once again.. but Van Persie and Wayne Rooney had something to say, and boy did they say it loud and clear. Three goals in Olympiacos' net and Manchester United, at least for one night, showed what it's capable of.

Didier Drogba.. The Legend

Didier Drogba

There are not many true legends left.. and by  true legend I mean a guy who's so legendary that simply everybody loves him, no matter where he goes and who he plays for.

Sure, Ronaldo and Messi are the biggest starts for the last 5-6 years, but currently you either love them, or hate them. Only a small part of the fans is reasonable enough to know they can respect both at the same time. But with Didier Drogba it's a whole different story. He's one of those few who are respected forever and last night we saw how exactly Chelsea fans feel about him.

He may have been there to play for Galatasaray, and he certainly gave his best, but even when he threatens Chelsea's goal, Chelsea fans kept cheering him on. They truly showed him how much they appreciate, and sings like ''You'll be our legend forever'' show how much of an impact he's left.

Messi become the best goal scorer in history of Barcelona

Messi jumps into history
You can like this guy, or you can love him.. there's no third option. There are countless records under Lionel Messi's belt and today he's snatched another one. This time he score his 370th goal for Barcelona, which makes him Barcelona's best scorer of all time.

That's right.. the best goal scoring machine in Barca's history, which is itself full of some amazing talent. Remember guys, only in last 20 years Barcelona was home to such player like Luiz Ronaldo, Luis Figo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho... yet Messi is truly something special. Cheers little man.. you deserved it.

Manchester City circus show with Hull City

Manchester City, Hull City, Dzeko, Silva
Manchester City makes a show

Manchester City seems to have decided to show off a bit of their might today. Well, that was expected as this is an excuse to their fans for the Champions League debacle against Barcelona.

So, after saying goodbye to Europe, the Citizens turned their focus to domestic league and their first target was unfortunate Hull City. Even though the game started of pretty badly for Manchester City after Vincent Kompany got sent off after only 10 minutes in the game.

Regardless, David Silva felt inspired and scored the leading goal, and then Edin Dzeko ended his 500-minute draught to finally score during the extra time. Destroying the opponent with 10 men, even if it's ''only'' Hull City does deserve some praise.

Buuurn.. that's what they call it these days when you get caught red handed, and that's exactly what happened to Bayern Munchen's president Uli Hoenes. Dude's probably already way more rich then he'll ever need in his life, yet he was still greedy enough to hide some pocket change from the tax collectors.

And by pocket change I mean 27 MILLION EUROS. Damn homey, that's a lotta mula.

So here's Borussia Dortmund's own Jurgen Klop, being a gentleman, visiting Hoenes in prison and bringing him a little present.

"Alley-oop" (Ribery - Roben vs Arsenal)

Well, it was never a surprise, but now it is official, Bayern is going on to the next one and Arsenal missed yet another chance to prove themselves in the Champions League. But I guess they put up a nice fight against the giants from Munchen. And Arsenal still has a very good chance to prove themselves in Premier League so this may only make things easier for them.

Manchester City looses to Wigan.. AGAIN!

caricature, cartoon, CARTOON FOOTBALL, defeat, FA cup, Finals, football caricature, Manchester City, Wigan, football cartoons, Manchester City cartoons, emir cartoons, best cartoons,
Manchester City 1 - 2 Wigan
Man, oh man, oh man. They must be hating Wigan in Manchester City so much now.
Today was the second time they managed to defeat Manchester City in the FA Cup. The first time they did it was last year, or on 11.5.2013 to be precise. Last time they played Wigan scored in the last minute of the game and took the victory, and the trophy with them.

This year they happened to meet up earlier in the knockout phase on FA Cup. While everyone expected Manchester City to properly punish them for last year's defeat, boys from Wigan managed to defeat the rich citizens again. I don't hate on Machester City, but it's nice to see a ''little'' team beat the ''big'' one.
